I was born into a Catholic family and fell away from the Church in college because I didn't understand the teachings. When I went looking for the truth, I was SHOCKED to find it back in the good ol' Catholic Church And I've been happily back home ever since.

Convert to Catholicism, and though the journey began many years before, i found the impetus needed to push my feet over the threshold of the doorway into the Catholic Church, in this very forum.

Cradle till teenager, then rebelled with the self-rightoeus indignation of a fool, but God had mercy and oh so much patience, that after 20yrs, I have come home to the Catholic church for about a year now. I have never been happier spiritually.

Born and raised Catholic. Refused to be confirmed but still practiced. Turned away completely during my mid 20s - early 30s ... finally got confirmed this past Pentacost Sunday and I'm a happy Catholic today and forever more!

Cradle, but didn't really pay much attention to that until May 2001. Hey, weh-hey! I've been properly practising at a Catholic for just over 3 years now!

Cradle...and I wont say that I strayed...maybe was just in a time of some real heavy sinning I guess. I stayed right with my faith though, I knew I was committing sins and would beg for mercy and forgiveness and strength to better myself and through my faith I got past that period. So I didn't stray or leave or even ponder my faith....just challenged it!

Awesome! How'd it go? We played at the Washington County, Arkansas Relay For Life. There was a pretty good crowd and they said they raised more money than their goal. It was really touching to see a lot of cancer survivors there.

Cradle, but I didn't always understand it. Eventhough I didn't always understand, I still had a sense that there was something to this "Catholicism thing," and Protestantism was never really an option. I couldn't understand how people could interpret scripture in different ways and all be correct; I've never seen the truth in relativism.

Cradle. At times in apologetics discussions I wish I could say I've converted, as it would diminish the "you're just blind from birth" insinuations. But, I can't argue against being taught correctly from the start.

It doesn't matter Brian. They would just find another way to tell you that you're deceived. You checked your brain at the door before all of your RCIA classes or you were converted by force due to the fact that the Church wouldn't marry you to your Catholic spouse unless you were Catholic. (I saw that one just the other day).
