Aussie-Gareth and I met because we related to each other's journals. We're doing the long distance thing since he's in Australia and I'm in California. We wouldn never have met had it not been for CF.

Hello!!!!!!

My girlfriend (Monkey Queen) and I have known each other since January 12th. We met online and actually met in person on June 4th. Our communication has always been amazing and we've been able to resolve all difficulties in a rational and loving way. Now, with her father's blessing, we've begun courting and we both definatley feel this relationship heading towards marriage. We're both commited to loving each other in the way that God loves us (which is unconditionally) and we even have a pair of rings to sybolize our commitment to one another. I love her with all my heart and she means the world to me.

Howdy!

My boyfriend, Gorilla King, and I are members of CF!!! We love one another very much. He lives in Colorado, and I live in Georgia! Long distance yes, but it is the BEST relationship ever! We have unconditional love for one another given to us by God. Our relationship is like none I have ever seen! It's so wonderful! God gives us the desires of our hearts, and He has surely given me mine!! We live our lives and base our relationship on God, and on the verses 1 Corinthians 13:4-7!! Those verses are amazing verses to keep in mind when in a relationship!

He came to visit me 4 weeks ago, asked Daddy if he could court me, we were blessed, and we got commitment rings together from the local Christian jeweler here in town. They came in 2 weeks ago, and he is planning another trip out here on July 24th!! He is staying for almost an entire month (woohoo)!!! Everyone in my family LOVES him!!! Daddy even really likes him!!! And you know how daddy's are protective over their daughters! It's all such a blessing in my life! I thank God for him every day!!

After meeting on CF and being on-again/off-again... Aussie_Gareth is coming to see me for a visit next week. He's flying from Australia and arriving in SF on Wednesday. We would appreciate prayers that we would be in the center of God's will for us... and that God would stay at the center of our relationship.

Hehe...good on ya, Gareth! I'm in a very similar sort of relationship with heavenlieisland that started through CF, and in similar circumstances to yours. Basically our casual chats grew to a friendship, and then as we got to know one another more I began to realise how much of a blessing she was in my life. Although there have been tough times such as when others have been critical of our closeness, God has been at the centre of our relationship and I know that our love is mutual, genuine and a gift from God. We're gonna meet up as soon as we can, but in the interim I think that God will lead us to what He considers to be best for us.
