  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Okay Ive been listenin to a lot of muzik and now im trying to get into Country. So Im askin for all da country fans out there ta drop your favorite artists/tracks/albums whatever. As long as its some good stuff.
it's not every day you meet someone who's "trying to get into country". Most country fans are just naturally in love with it, or they were raised on it.

it takes all kinds; that's what i always said.

Johnny Cash. Some kind of greatest hits would probably be the best. The man had a lot of albums. There's a live album called "At Folsom Prison" that's really good.

Then there's some good alt-country stuff.

Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot (i've heard one of their earlier albums is moreso, but i haven't heard anything bt YHF)
Bright Eyes - I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning
Damien Jurado - Where Shall You Take Me

I would suggest:

Toby Keith's Greatest Hits Vol or Shock'n Y'all. 2
Tim McGraw's Live Like You Were Dying or Set this Circus Down
Chely Wright's Let Me In or Wright in the Middle of It
Just about anything by Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Sr., Patsy Cline,
Garth Brooks's Double Live or his last CD (not sure what it's called)
Kenny Chesney's No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem,
Alabama's Greatest Hits Vol 2.

There's a few more I can't think of the artists' names but basically I don't like country but I do like all those CDs for the most part.
