CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
Counting?

I am new to this so I am not quite grasping of how adults can call acting like kindergarden students as fun... I asked what the point of this counting was and was offerd it was for fun. Now I mean no disrespect but as I am a matter of fact man I am curious as to how many adults can think of no other way to have fun than by mindlessly adding a figure to there screen in a repetitive fashion thatpromotes nor serves any purpose that i can see or imagine.
I can only surmise that a monkey see monkey do type of situation as those who a re participating have no idea of why they are doing it and specify fun as the reason....I see no fun in counting any more than counting sheep or observing our chest go up and down as we breath...Now the originator of this thread may take exception with muycomments but I ask them to support how counting is fun and a good thing to promote and how it betters our life...hey if counting is the only way to have fun I suggest you need prayer more than mindless counting as their is so much to have fun with in life aside from counting.. Can no one do better???
I offer no judgement just questionsand pray i do not get dumped on for my quite typical observations..
