The thing is, when you're not a Christian, they don't tell you that to become a Christian you'll need to toughen up. It doesn't say that on the label.

Satan doesn't want to loose you. As soon as you step out into the Kingdom, you become a target. It's just like joining the army during a time of war. Once you put on the uniform, the enemy starts firing. Satan uses deception. Do not be deceived into thinking that Christianity is no good. That's what Satan wants you to think. A soldier in the army gets trained to withstand the enemy. You can do the same. Try picking up your bible and reading Ephesians 6; this will mentally and spiritually prepare you for enemy attack.

I have pastored many people. I have found that only a handful who consider themselves Christians are really pursuing Christ the way He intended us to. For my own edification, I have chosen to try to surround myself with others that have the desire and passion to seek the Lord earnestly. Just keep in mind that we are all human; sooner or later people will let you down. We need to build our foundation on Christ, He we never let us down!
