Could this be an Angel?

my Mother works with old age people, looks after them etc. One of these OAP's was dying, and she turned to my Mother and said "you're going to be alright Lys, you have a man looking over you" obviously, being confused, my Mum asked her what did she mean.
The old lady replies
"There's a coloured man in white clothes protecting you, he says no harm will come to you"
My Mum just agrees thinking its a hallucination.
Approximatly 6 months later, my Mum is pushing another old lady around in her wheel chair, they was in a quiet area.
The old lady says "Oh Lys, can you hear that?"
My mum says no.
"I think it's that handsome man over there playing the violin"
my mum looked around, couldn't see anything.
"I can't see anyone" says my Mum.
"That Tanned man over there, on the corner by the shop"
Mum looks again...still not seeing anything

possibly an angel or is it more than likely a hallucination?
two seperate people at two seperate times seeing a dark-skinned man

I'll answer your question with a yes, the description of a man wearing white matches very well with what the church has always understood an angel to look like. I'd posit in this case it was likely your mother's guardian angel, we all have one and the similar description seems to fit with the idea.

Now if you had described a man with wings or a bright light or anything else besides a man wearing white I would have said no, but a man wearing white could well be an angel.
