  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm wonder if you can help me out here.
I'm 7 weeks pregnant. Today I woke up with alittle nausea (normally it comes on hard) alittle heartburn. My breasts still feel sore and I feel very tired.
So here is my question.....Has there been any days where you just don't feel as bad or sick? Or is this something to worry about? I have an appt tomarrow, I just wanted to put my mind at ease.

i would say that there's definitely nothing to worry about if you're feeling LESS sick... be thankful!! ;) the classic pregnancy symptoms come and go -- for some people, it's every day, all day; some people don't have them at all, and some people have them here and there. it's totally normal.

if you're concerned about it, though, or if you feel a little off, you know your body better than anyone else, so definitely ask your doctor to put your mind at ease.

:)

Yes definitly normal, some days are worse then others, I'm 23 weeks pregnant now and I do recall waking up on some days (in my first trimester) and just not wanting to get out of bed because I felt so sick, some days I felt slightly nauseus but it was nothing really. What did you have for dinner last night, if you have lots of protein it can help ease morning sickness, it worked for me to some extent.

Well, I just got back from my Dr. appt. There was a heartbeat. I'm only 7 weeks pregnant so the baby looked like a peanut. I'm going to try not to worry so much about miscarrying.
I got really nauseous this morning. So I guess I just got a break yesturday :)
I brought up that I bled and had cramps last week. She asked me when it happened I told her it was after having sex. She said that was normal and not to worry about it. Try again in a week. At this point I'm scared to have sex.

every pregnancy is different and the way you are going to feel throughout it will change. one day you dont want to get out of bed-the next, you may want to run a marathon!

two of my children-i was never sick at all. the other, i was sick only part of the time.

I don't really know how to ask this... but did you have a miscarriage before? If you did then I can understand why you are worried. But personally I had sex every single day of my pregnancy (until the end when I was big and uncomfortable) and the baby did just fine. Just so you know... sex under normal conditions is no problem because the baby is in this nice comfy fluid filled sack.
