Because i'm seeing quite a bit of this lately.

2 Timothy 3 - But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.

Pulled into KFC the other day and ordered a meal , received my meal but no spoon , so tapped on the window and asked for a spoon , girl opens the window and throws the spoon at me in disgust , I say well how am I supposed to eat the potato & gravy ?......she says who bloody well cares and slams the window closed. ( Must have been love at first sight..lol )

But that's only one of the many stories that I could tell. Some are saying it's because of the covid19 vaccine because Dr Peter McCullough says it goes into the brain and causes damage , but i'm not too sure about that , I think Einstein might be on to something here , who knows.

Anyone else noticing these strange behaviours in young people today ?......because if you are then we might actually be on the cusp of the end time scenario.

The Near Future of Planet Earth:
Isaiah 10:1-4 Woe betide you who enact unjust laws and draft oppressive edicts, depriving the poor of justice and robbing My people of their rights. What will you do, when called to account, when devastation from afar confronts you? Where will you hide your riches and leave your children? Nothing will remain, but that you cringe among the captives or fall with the slain.

Isaiah 9:16-19 Those who guide My people have led them astray and those who follow them are deluded. Therefore the Lord will show no mercy to the youths or pity the widows and fatherless. They are a nation of godless evildoers, everyone speaks impiety. For all this, His anger has not abated.
The ungodly are set ablaze, like a fire it consumes the briars and thorns. It sets the forests ablaze and all is wrapped in a pall of smoke. The land is scorched by the fury of the Lord and the people will be fuel for the fire.

Isaiah 8:9-10 Take note you nations: You will be shattered. Listen all you distant parts of the earth, arm yourselves and be defeated, prepare for battle and be shattered. Devise your plans, but they will be foiled, prepare what you will, but it will not be carried out.

Isaiah 10:17-19 The Light of Israel will be become a fire, their Holy One, a flame – which in one Day will burn up and consume His thorns and briars. The beauty of the forests and pastures will be suddenly devastated and only a remnant will remain.

Isaiah 13:9-13 The Day of the Lord is coming, that cruel Day of wrath and fierce anger, a Day of darkness to reduce the [holy] Land to a desolation and to destroy the wicked there. The Lord will punish the world for its evil, the wicked and proud peoples will be cut down. Humans will become as scarce as gold, as rare as the gold of Ophir. The sky will tear apart and the earth will be moved from its place at the wrath of the Lord Almighty, on the Day of His blazing anger.
Ref: REB, NIV. Some verses abridged.

These Bible prophecies say it all, how the unjust and godless peoples will be brought to account, those ‘thorns and briars’, that is: those who despise the Lord’s people and try to take over the holy Land: will be punished. Ezekiel 28:24 & 30:1-5, Jeremiah 12:14
What will trigger the Lord to take this action, will be an attempt to fire nuke missiles at Israel. Isaiah 21:1-4, Isaiah 22:1-14

This is prophesied to be carried out by the means of a terrible judgement of fire, earthquakes, storms and tsunamis, which will be fulfilled literally by a Coronal Mass Ejection from the sun: ‘tearing apart the sky’. Isaiah 30:26, Malachi 4:1 That will ‘reduce the land to desolation’, and ‘cut down all the proud and wicked peoples’. Their plans against the Lord’s people will not be carried out. Deut. 32:22&34-35, Psalms 83:1-18, Psalms 7:12-16, Jer. 49:34-37, Rev. 6:12-17

But, after this sudden and shocking event, those who love the Lord and keep His Commandments, every born again Christian, have His amazing promises of the regeneration of the Holy Land, where they will gather and live in peace and security. Ezekiel 34:11-16, Jeremiah 33:12-13, Isaiah 66:12-21, Joel 2:21-24

Is the Day the Lord ‘tears apart the sky and reduces the earth to desolation’, the same Day of the Return in glory? No, these scriptures do not match with the Return, this happens first in order to fulfil God’s promises to the Patriarchs; Psalms 105:5-10 and for the sake of His Holy Name. Ezekiel 36:22

Isaiah 45:8 Rain righteousness, you heavens, let the sky above pour it down, let the earth open for it, so that salvation may flourish and righteousness with it. The Lord will do this. Psalms 50:6, Psalms 140:12-13, Isaiah 1:27

Isaiah 45:9-10 Can we contend with our Maker? Can the pot say to the Potter: What are you making? Or a child ask its parents: What have you brought to birth? Thus, the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says; Ask Me about things to come, concerning My children, the work of My hands. It is I, who made the earth and created mankind upon it. Isaiah 64:8, Jeremiah 18:6

Isaiah 45:18-19 The Lord, He who is God, the Maker of the earth; formed as a place to be inhabited says: I did not speak in secret, out of darkness, I did not say to Jacobs descendants: look for Me in vain. I am God, with Me is victory and salvation. Isaiah 51:13, Isaiah 54:5

Isaiah 45:21-24 Come forward and present your case, who was it that foretold what is to be? Was it not the Lord? There is no God but Me, I am the One who is victorious and able to save. From every corner of the earth, turn to Me and be saved. By Myself, I have sworn My promise of victory and to Me every knee will bow and every tongue will swear, saying: In the Lord alone is righteousness and strength. All who defy Me, will stand ashamed in My presence. 1 Chronicles 29:11, John 3:16

Isaiah 45:20 & 16 Gather together and come near, you survivors of the nations, who in ignorance carry wooden idols in procession, who pray to gods that cannot save. All the idol worshippers will be disgraced, they will perish in their confusion.
2 Kings 17:12, Deuteronomy 32:36-42, Jeremiah 10:1-16, Isaiah 66:17

Isaiah 45:25 & 17 But all Israel’s descendants will be victorious, they will be found righteous and will glory in the Lord. Israel has been delivered by the Lord for all time, they will never be disgraced or put to shame. Deut. 33:1-5, Jer. 3:23
Ref: REB, NIV, KJV. Some verses abridged.

At the end of the Church age, there will, at last be righteousness and justice on earth. The first stage will be amongst His people, who will be gathered soon after the worldwide Lord’s Day of wrath occurs. ‘Gather and come near, you survivors of the nations. All the idol worshippers will perish’. Then all the true followers of the Lord, all Jacob/Israel’s descendants, be they ethnic or grafted in, will enter and live in the Land. Ezekiel 34:11-31, Jeremiah 23:3, Zechariah 10:8-10

Later will come the worldwide Kingdom of Jesus on earth, to Him ‘every knee will bow’. Then, finally, will come the ‘New Heavens and New Earth’’. Revelation 21:1-26

Yes, I have noticed in recent years that many young people today seem to not really care about anything. They have no respect whatsoever for other people. I know this has always been the case to some extent, but it does seem to be worse now than I can ever remember. And, that's the context of the passage you quoted. Paul was obviously not saying that there weren't any people like that in his day, but he was implying that there would be a time when the amount of people who behave like what he described would be significantly increased. It goes along with what he taught in 2 Thessalonians 2 in relation to a mass falling away from the faith and increased wickedness due to wickedness no longer being restrained.

In general? No question!
''People will be, , unforgiving, ,''
I have questioned, and will always question those passages that fall into this category. Is this in general (Luke 23:31), or directed at those of us who have relinquished the fight? For keep in mind, this was written by the same brother who also said,

'', , what is it to me to judge those outside? Do you not judge those within?'' (1Cor 5:12)

That is to say, '', , what is it to me to judge,'' the culture? Or, why would the Spirit through Paul question here a culture's unforgiveness when in the day-to-day at that time, unforgiveness had no lack? Which leads to his close, ''those within''.

So the Bible says people will get worse. And it seems pretty bad now & it's always been bad & it may've even been worse in the past. So how do we reconcile these 2 ideas? How can it get any worse?

I think everyone will think everything is good. Paul here is saying, no, it will look like it's good, but it's not. & the reason it's not, is b/c there's no love of God. Since Paul has to spell that out for people that the world will be wicked, people must think that it'll be good or getting better, but in reality it won't be better. He's saying it'll still be wicked. Jesus's Ascension doesn't mean it's sunshine & rainbows now.

On some level this is always the case. If we had a time machine and could experience all manner of times and places since St. Paul penned those words we would, no doubt, discover all manner of ways what we see mirrors what we read in that passage.

I, too, have looked at the world around me today and seen what looks like a dangerous reflection of those words. But I try to keep myself tempered by reminding myself that such has often been the case for most generations.

I am also restricted in my experience and perception--I am an American living in America, with a certain political situation; and while I see many examples of Christians behaving badly, and a culture that, broadly, often seems cynical--that's my experience and does not necessarily reflect the objective reality of global reality, or of the Church on a global scale. I cannot make America the center of the world, let alone myself.

That said, I still think the Apostles' words are relevant, and a warning, for every generation. It is a warning to be sure, it is also an invitation: An invitation to be vigilant. Vigilant with myself, I cannot become the one whose love grows cold. The call to follow Jesus happen every day, in every moment of every day I can either choose to take Jesus seriously, or I can do things my way. Who will I be today? Who will I be right now?
