Have you read the OP?

As a matter of fact I have.

Hey, do you guys think your source on this is reliable? Is it giving you the full story rather than cherry-picked quotes to support a particular narrative? Do you think the quotes it provides are in context and complete? Do you think there are other parts to this story that perhaps don't fit the narrative, but are otherwise important? Is this an opinion piece or a news piece? Do you think Baker's testimony was actually related to Hillary Clinton?

Just curious on your thoughts.

Hillary Clinton loyalists fed the FBI’s upper echelon an assortment of anti-Donald Trump criminal accusations during the 2016 campaign and his presidency, according to a string of interview transcripts released in recent weeks.

James A. Baker, former FBI general counsel who participated on the receiving end, testified that the situation was “horrible” and “highly unusual.”

At least 10 of Mrs. Clinton’s supporters directly or via middlemen told the bureau tales about Russia-Trump conspiracies. It appears to be an unprecedented effort by a presidential campaign and the party in power to count on the FBI to knock out the other party’s candidate and president.

Hillary Clinton allies fed FBI Donald Trump-Russia stories

Perhaps if the Trump campaign hadn't had so many clandestine interactions with Russia no one from the Clinton campaign would tell the FBI about them?

It appears to be an effort to alert the FBI of unprecedented and undisclosed contacts with a foreign adversary during a Presidential election campaign.

What a lot of Donald loyalists don't seem to realize is that you're supposed to alert the FBI if you think something criminal might be happening.

For instance, if someone says they are connected to the Russian government and have dirt on your opponent, the proper thing to do is alert the FBI, not say, "Great!" and set up a meeting, then lie about it to your own government about it. Then act all shocked that it triggers an investigation.

Perhaps if the Clinton Campaign and the DNC didn't pay 12,000,000 to a foreign national cooperating with Russian operatives for dirt on Trump. there would have never been FISA warrants, or an investigation.

One joke on the campaign trail became a two year dog whistle to rally the troops to remove a sitting President they don't like.

By this theory, perhaps if Trump's team had not been mingling with Russian operatives there would not have been an investigation.

Except that the $12,000,000 price tab was spent paying a foreign national with direct connections to Russia for dirt on a political opponent. Something NOT mentioned when the document was used as evidence for the need to investigate. Also not mentioned is that the author of the document could not verify the information he provided as true.

From what I understand, the Clinton campaign hired Fusion GPS, an American firm, who outsourced to Orbis, a company run by a Former British Intelligence Operative. The British, as far as we know, did not attempt to hack the election.

The Steele dossier was not the evidence that started the investigation, nor does it apoear that it was the crux of the FISA warrant. Indeed, there is little mention of it in Report, and not at all in the particularly damaging parts.
