Cosplaying Need help!

Hello fellow anime fans

I am going to my first anime convention later this year

And I would like to cosplay ;
Only Problem is i dont know who to go as as Ive never done it before.
I have a budget of about $100
and this is what i look like

Yes hideous I know, Do i resemble any anime char at all :S In any slight way ( That might help me with choosing a costume )

Also has anyone ever done it before, who did you go as and how did u get there...
( I really dont wwanna ride the train dressed as Naruto XD )

I was thinking of going as someone from Naruto or Chobits but yea you guys prolly know better than me

I have you try looking around a theft shop and see what kind of clothes they have? The clothes they have are really cheap and you never know you might find something you could use. I dont know where you could find the headbands in Naruto or Perscon ears but you allways look around the net or make your own. Maybe you could try a costume or uniform shop and they might have something useful.

secondhand stuff, but very cheap and yeah, ive found things that i could cut up and make something out of

Yeah Thrift stores do have a lot of cheap things. You can get jumpsuits for like 8$!!! (well at our stores at least haha but we have a lot of people that work in them...SO yeah.... -_- ) You should go for somone that you won't have to wear a wig ya know?...Because As much as some of them can look really neat, some of them look REALLY BAD. (Lets just say its hard to pull off looking like the real InuYasha!!) Personally I know you didn't really want to, but Naruto would be good...Or the guy from the Trigun series?

Just an idea though! But good luck sweetie! You've gotta take a lot of picture for me! : - ) (And if you did trigun, it'd be really easy to do! )
