It goes,beyond physical manifestation.

Their must come a point in our walk when we begin to understand what we are.

We are sons of God,made in his image.
God is a spirit,we are spirit beings

We dwell in mortal bodies,as Christ did for a time.

Christ died and ascended to the father,as with US that are in Christ will also.

So our reality is not the natural,it it is but a moment,by the dwelling of the Holy Spirit we operate in the spiritual realm.

When we get hold of the fact that we are not temporal only but eternal, and now have a mediator between the almighty, the blessed one, and can boldly come before him, nothing is impossible.

God spoke this world into existence,we are sons of God through redemption,by Christ.
We can speak our destiny and control it,anything less is denying the power of God.

Identity. It all comes back to identity.

Amen.

Sometimes people will not understand the magnitude of salvation.

We serve a living God,that dwells by spirit in our physical realm.
And he made a way for our access to his spiritual realm.

They think God is not interactive in our lives, they believe going to Church will get them to heaven.

The rest of their time they ignore,God until they need him.
And if their faithless prayers do not get answered, they blame him

They want God to be a genie, waiting on their prayer.

After 30+ years as a christian, I have finally come to understand how faith works and what it means when the word says God "calls things that are not as though they were". And since we are made in His image we are to walk in His manner. So, the question is, I am trying to learn new responses to questions/comments from others such as

How are you feeling?

I noticed you still have that cough?

While I grow in faith and claim good health. I think there is a balance, you have those who say I am not sick, what are you talking about, and others who go with what others say around them thus agreeing with that sickness and don't walk in victory at all.

Thoughts, thanks

Wayne

How are you feeling? You say, "Blessed of God."

I noticed you still have that cough?. You say, "I was healed by the stripes of Jesus 2000 years ago."

If I happen to say or admit to more than I should have, I cancel or cut off the offending words in the name of Jesus.

I like what Charles Capps said about it (something like this): "I exhibit the symptoms of illness in my body, but I deny its right to exist here!"

Sometimes not taking part in certain conversations is wiser. The enemy often DOES try and serve you up to agree with the wrong report.

Among believers, you could probably say: "My body has been under attack. Stand in agreement with me in thanksgiving that Jesus bore my sicknesses on the cross and for wisdom to care for my body in a manner that glorifies God."

No you can believe what you want, yon can deny what you want.

No need to worry about the faith of others, you are within your rights to stay sick poor and sad

Why not say what is going on.

I'm fighting a cold, but bless God, Jesus has won the victory.

Exactly, the misunderstanding is our critics think we are claiming so state of absolute perfection.

We don't deny our afflictions,we deny their right, and we do walk in victory according to our measure of faith.

We are in this world not of this world, and it should be known to all for the glory of God.
Hard to do when your Church has more sick than the sinners out side.

I have these on my blog under the "Healing" section. They should shed some light here.

"You have learned the power in speaking forth the words of Scripture in your prayers to Me. Seek the words of Scripture pertaining to healing and make them your prayer. You have experienced the results of praying in this matter in the many times you have received healing in your body."

"My child, once again you shall see My power exhibited in the healing of your body as you continue to pray the Scriptures to Me, believing that you shall receive what you are praying for. Again you will know that "I sent My Word and healed you and delivered
you from your destructions."

"Cease to proclaim adversity in your body but rather proclaim total freedom from disease and infirmity. It is as you proclaim victory that complete victory comes into being. You know that I shall never leave you nor forsake you nor shall I allow any harm to come upon you."

"I admonish you to guard your tongue lest you bring negative forces into being in your body. As you speak positively you receive positive results and by the same token as you speak negatively you receive negative results. As you speak victory over pain you shall see your pain begin to subside."

"I must exhort you once again to speak not of your infirmities but rather to proclaim health and healing in your body. You have seen My healing power manifested in your body on many occasions and you shall see it again as you proclaim your healing."

"Healing of all disease and infirmity in your bodies shall spring forth as you dwell on the many Scriptures concerning healing found in My Word. You will discover the truth that as I died on the cross of Calvary for your salvation so also My death was for healing of all sickness in your bodies."

"I tell you, My little ones, that even as you proclaim infirmities in your body you open the door to receive infirmities. So it follows that as you proclaim My precious promises of healing so you make a way for healing, if you believe that My Word is truth."

"Trust Me for healing of your bodies. Set a guard over your lips that you not speak forth doubt and hinder My healing power over you. Again, I say, you must bind the strongman of infirmity and loose the Spirit of life and of healing into your bodies."

"Begin to speak to whatever mountains in your life need to be moved, be it sickness or disease, unbelief in loved ones, material needs or anything in your life in need of changing. As you dispense with all doubt in your mind and believe that you shall receive those things which you have said, you shall have them."

Of course weigh them as you would anything else,,,

I read an article written by Kenneth Hagin Jr. He stated that When you go to a doctor you should speak the facts. This is not an indication of lack of faith. Since it's not about believing the Bible concerning health.

Abraham was able to acknowledge the facts of his inability when it came to having a child, yet it did not weaken his faith.

For instance. Someone asks you how you feel. So tell them. Since they didn't ask you what you believe the Bible says about your emotional, or physical condition.

You see the difference?

And, if you have enough of a rapport with the person- they know that you are a Bible believing Christian in the true sense of the phrase- then after you tell them the facts of how you feel, you can add "But I'm believing that God will change the situation because he said in his word..." and quote a scripture or two.

Even if the time of recovery is no different than any unbeliever around you, you still please God by exercising your faith correctly, and with practice comes the building up of faith, perhaps gradually rather than instantly being healed. But with the expectation of eventually becoming quickly healed by faith and not doctors. And thus be a witness of the Lord to the unbelievers. And that gives the evidence that God does exist, and God's word does work.

Hagin Jr's article certainly solved the dilemma for me of what to say to people when they ask me your example questions.
