Coping with 'down' days!

I recall the verses that have already been posted by others: God works all things for good. He will not give us more than we are able. He is faithful. He is the author and finisher of our faith. All things come to us have already been touched by His hand.

I rejoice that in these times I must seek Him. After all, isn't that what we all want deep down? To depend on Him more? Sacrifice of praise is a blessing.

Amen.

In my own life, I cannot expect to escape circumstances because they will always happen, one way or another. Without circumstances, my self-discovery will not be completed and my self-judgment will be biased and imperfect. This is why I am to work along with the Holy Spirit so that I may make amendments as the circumstances demand. By discovering who I am, I will also be finding whom I am not and whom I can be through Christ. For my own good and to Glorify Him.

MT 6:34 helps remind me not to borrow trouble from the future, but to focus on the present day. I mean in the Lord's prayer we are told to ask God to "Give us THIS day our daily bread," not give us today's and tomorrow's bread.

MT 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (NIV)


EPH 6:13 helps me alot. These days I feel like I'm in an alley with my back to a brick wall. It helps me to remind my self to put on my armor, to stand my ground, and after I've done everything I can, to just stand and know that God will take care of me. And, I like to remind myself and rejoice that "I'm still standing yeah yeah yeah!"

EPH 6:13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. (NIV)

Does not the Word come like a soft shower, assuaging the fury of the flame? Yes, is it not an asbestos armor, against which the heat has no power? Let the affliction come--
