I already broke a few desk fans from this site. I had to resort to sitting in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.

Those who are interested, send me a pm and we'll set up a time on MSN that we all can meet and talk about stuff... and pray through stuff too.

This weekend, I'll be out of town, but I'll be back Sunday night. Let's see what we all can do and put our heads together.

Whatever we do, we must stay within the rules and thus no one will be able to accuse us of anything.

Cool. I'll be out of town this weekend and will be back on Sunday. I'll check this thread and see who would like to talk and pray about the situation in our safe haven and then we all can discuss things and come up with some ideas as to how to *solve* some issues.

If you want, you can send me a pm as well. Whatever way works best for you all.

I just think it's time that we work some things out to help keep our safe haven... safe and protected.

I'm willing to help in every way I can to make this a safe haven for like-minds as well...

I'm not sure what it is you all see we need to "fight against" at this point... I think we just need to set up our new guidelines in compliance with the new sitewide rules and then get back to fellowshipping and learning more about the Lord, the Bible, and our walk through life as a Conservative Christian and what that means to us... I'm really looking forward to it!

As I said, I'm willing to help in every way I can to fight to keep CC open, and thriving! I don't think that will need to include anything with my staff member hat on, but in a member capacity I'm definitely "in" to help re-decorate so to speak, and get back to the good things in life!

I would hope something could be done to fix all this -- after over 1 month of continual upheaval, (both internal and external), I think it can get back to normal.

I think alot of this has been internal - once you get past the rainbows & unicorns, you see bigger divides.

I also saw what looked to be partiality going on w/ friendship allegiences if you disagree with person "a", you'll now tick off all "a's" FRIENDS who then form alliances against you & your friends and fight back, etc. The tensions rise, anger & resentments get deeper & build...

One group wanted alot of liberal influence & fellowship & didn't care what their theology was as long as they can chat on a superficial level, while others felt it was spiritually compromising and almost "doubleminded" to engage with them while they hold entirely opposing scriptural beliefs. (namely if you do debate w/ them elsewhere, and/or if they're over on IIDB trashing all of us - only to find them all friendly and quaint w/ everyone as if they're best buddies).

I think that may have been another source of the internal friction that finally surfaced here and came to a head. On top of that, I don't doubt that this forum had more "moderates" in it than hardline conservativism across the board.
(I could be wrong on these things it's just some hind sight observation).

Then tack on mass spite reporting and what I view as baiting that's been going on... and lots of other little things & you have this powder keg we see before us right now.

I'm hoping too that Lee's changes provide a solid foundation to build on so this area can get back to some consistency & order.
Worst case scenario (if necessary), CC could be scrapped & a similar forum started just to start over & wash out the old stains.
