COOL. Yahuweh our Father in heaven is faithful and always right, and as our Father is doing what is best for us.
When Israel wanted to be like other nations (pagan heathen nations), Yahuweh warned them what would happen, but they insisted, and Yahuweh gave them what they asked for, and what He warned them of did happen, just as He said it would.

Now the last few hundred years, He had warned people what would happen if they did not rely on Him, if they turned to man's way(s), (like voting), and just like the Israelites the people (most of them, apparently) in the usa persisted and still persist today in doing things just like the other nations (not trusting in God), or worse ?

Most important, Yahuweh (God) is Perfect, and Faithful and True. His Promises He Always Keeps. If we persist in seeking things He knows is not best for us, He will let us have them, albeit it will be a painful experience, if we keep trusting Him though, we get through, He brings us through, and maybe, hopefully, we know better next time ! ?
