  Mahamat, a young Christian living in northern Cameroon, was imprisoned by his parents but later rescued. Mahamat was studying to become a teacher of the Quran when he rejected Islam and turned to Christ. On Jan. 3, 2025, his parents learned of Mahamat's new faith and tried to convince him to recant. When that failed, they locked him inside a house. They also summoned Islamic clerics to persuade him to return to Islam. But when a relative who had also become a follower of Christ learned what was happening, she rescued Mahamat, who had been held captive for about a week. Read More.

  A Muslim man was disowned by his family for placing his faith in Christ after his daughter's miraculous healing. Moussa, 65, was a devout Muslim until around five years ago when his daughter began experiencing severe abdominal pain. After seeking the aid of imams and local physicians without success, Moussa prayed to Christ for his daughter's healing. His wife, Safia, had been a follower of Christ for more than three decades, consistently praying for her husband's salvation.
