-those who convert from Catholicism to Protestantism do so because they don't understand the Church's teachings.

So be it. I am merely pointing out what I observe.

I can't think of anybody who's left the Catholic Church after fully understanding her teachings.

Of course. Lol, I actually know a convert from Catholicism from Baptist (I say actually cuz I jsut found out) and she is one of my close friends and all and I think her whole family converted but she isn't religious at all herself isn't bad but not religious and is getting into the whole goth deal slowly but surely...

In the interest of CF-wide harmony, I am closing this thread. We must remember that guests to OBOB visit here and read our threads, and we should not overly generalize issues. It sometimes leads people to act uncharitably, and we have a responsibility to help not only ourselves, but others, avoid occassions of sin.
