CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

O Lord and Master,
Who has the treachery to assail Thy Sacred Texts
until they are become as smoke dispersed by the
careless winds of spite?
Please remember me as thy servant loyal only to
Thine Eternal Wisdom, to Thine Endless Serenity,
to Thine Unending Life
omnipresent in all that exists.
I am unworthy in every way,
save that I love truth and justice.
I am broken and smashed,
yet lift my last words and thoughts to
stand against the evils that rise
to destroy your own innocents!!!
Oh, my Lord and Master, use my heart and will
to render harmless the cruelties that threaten
all who are good and honest.

Lord, I thank You for those you have prayed for me today...You are strengthening my heart...Lord continue to lead us in prayer for each other and deliver our hearts from dark thinking...let out minds be renewed by the truth of Your word...by the power of Your word, for Your words are spirit and they are life...thank You for them...help us Lord...help us to humblely let Your word take root in our hearts and grow there bearing much fruit.

Father, thank You for my day. I know that I could have done many things differently. I pray that tomarrow I can do much better and by Your grace I know I can. It is the only way. Please forgive me for aggrivating my husband. I love him and I should not hurt him with brash comments. James was right the tongue is so evil. Purify me and hold my tongue as I cannot.
