More and more people are having NDEs and recalling their experiences for the masses...thousands and if you watch them you can see that most, not all, are being truthful. You can see when a person is doing that mostly anyway... One of the common ideas over and over is we are here for a specific reason, that life is not random in the general sense of the word and that lives get planned and presented very precisely. I am not a lover of the new age space cadet personalities although when I was young a long time ago I did spend some time around new ideas....I generally discounted them but did manage to absorb a sense of how important it is to eat only good foods and be healthy thru out life. I still do that today. So not a total waste of time. Anyway many of the NDE crowd says specifically that people actually agree to come down here and live lives and that they do very specific planning as to what experiences they have. And most have what is called a mission that is central to it. Many people including me don't know what our exact mission is and that is frustrating. Whatever. The planning involved its said is heavy toward the difficult scenarios...they have said Earth is known as a very difficult and even unpleasant place to do some living but valuable because you get a bunch of exposure to many bad things and therefore a larger experience overall. Thousands have come back from NDEs and recounted this. To not believe them at this point is just too simple and very ignorant I believe. And I am conservative. I even vote that way.
So I was wondering like many why someone would choose a slew of degrading, soul damaging circumstances that even destroys every bit of self image, love, and respect and ability to even feel good about anything again after these circumstances. Some might say that some souls are forced into some of these lives because of outrageous behavior in previous runs. I does seem to make sense and I can't really discount it totally. But what if some of us who are intensely pragmatic decided to pile on the horrid days and soul killing interactions because we were told that if we were willing to contribute to the giant experience library which apparently exists as a literal building in the higher realms and is massive and beautiful with marble columns and bookshelves a mile high or something like that..I am not kidding about this...thats what they say..if we finished the 80 years and stayed away from suicide and violence and did at least some good..that we would be eligible for what might be called a "fun" life later on...a lifespan where you got to have all kinds of cool fun times like maybe an artist or personality or super talented person would have. Great relationships, maybe being famous if that's what you wanted, and generally a great lifespan. When I see some people in my life I wonder if that's what is going on with them...or is that they were so beaten down that they had to be given their lives to just heal their previous damage. I think there are more than few of these souls.
Anyway I hope the Lord has an offer for me in the future that is something like that. I will be gone in the next 10-20 years and even at this stage of the plan there is nothing really left of me that isn't un repairable....but I have sustain....certainly...and like a good plan...

Was there supposed to be a question in there somewhere?

I've watched a lot of these stories, and many of them say the same thing, and there are a few that are questionable, especially the ones that use predictions. Have you heard about IANDS.org?

Ok? Whatever makes you feel good. lol

I'm apathetic... nothing makes me feel good... then again nothing makes me feel bad either. I'm a lifelong member of the Church of the IDM.

(staff edit)

This is seemingly a thread about NDE's, I simply questioned the entire premise thereof.

Is there a problem with that? (staff edit)

Is skepticism against forum guidelines?

I have read a reasonable amount on NDEs over the years, reflecting the spectrum of views on their significance. Yet I have never seen any reference to what you describe. I could easily have missed one or two instances, but you refer to this idea being reported by thousands. I am very sceptical of this claim. Do you have some citations that would support it?
