Your members are a wide ranging lot with a variety of abilities and disabilities. I realize that customizing software package such as this isn't without difficulty. So I would begin by thanking you for all of your hard work and acknowledge the difficulties in pleasing everyone. In the spirit of making any suggestions as easy to implement as possible, I will first voice my concerns and then suggest generic remedies that are usually widely available.

My personal concerns have mainly to do with my eyesight. So my first suggestion would be a 'Dark' or 'High-Contrast' Mode. White backgrounds are not my friend. Pastels are torturous. As this option is usually included in many BBS and Forum packages, I was hoping to get lucky. ;)

This editing window has the disconcerting ability to allow the cursor to exceed the lower boundary of the editing window rather than auto-scrolling while typing. I say disconcerting because for me, the cursor is difficult to find in the first place. It could be due to my browser magnification (currently at 150%), because reading small text even with corrective lenses is impossible for me. This is hopefully a simple setting that I pray it isn't too difficult to correct. If not, I understand.

There is another problem that may be related to my browser magnification setting. The top and bottom Banners in the Post editing window take up way too much real estate. By the time I can read the text without eyestrain, there is very little of it to read.

I do so miss numbered and indented lists. But if I am required to learn how to Code them (along with a multitude of other chores), a Code reference popup or a page I could keep open in another tab would be of great utility.

The Post response emojis seem more tailored for a social media site rather than a site dedicated to scriptural fellowship, research, discussion and debate. It is my opinion that the old set was much more suited to our purposes here. Don't you agree?

I have other concerns but many have already been posted. So thank you! And may the Father meet you in the place of your needs and shower you with blessings for your wonderful work here!

If you scroll down to the bottom of a forum thread page, there is a dark mode:

You may need to zoom out to find it. To the right of the dark mode button, there is a button to Toggle Width (the arrows). Hopefully this will help resolve your issues.

So my first suggestion would be a 'Dark' or 'High-Contrast' Mode.
There is a Dark mode if you scroll to the bottom. Currently "Christiand Forums (LIght)" is selected, but you can toggle it.

Missing numbered and bulleted lists certainly is a significant issue for me. I’m guessing it is a rich text editor setting that is turned off when it was simplified.

I flipped on the dark mode as soon as I saw it. :)

My my All4Christ, don't you just rock! Thanks! But I am familiar with this code and I know that there are a limited number of codes that are allowed. It varies. So is there a reference somewhere? My memory isn't what it used to be. ;)

There used to be one in the help section here. That likely would show the ones that are allowed.

Here is an overall reference.
