So I'm about 34 weeks pregnant and I'm having lots of Braxton Hicks contractions, and I generally just ignore them, but I've been having so many lately that are so painful. I feel like when I finally have this baby I'll be exhausted from being in labor for 2 whole months.
I've been to the doctor. My cervix is closed, the FFN test was negative, which is a good indication I won't go into "real" labor anytime soon. I get a shot of terbutaline now and then to slow my contractions down. They were 3-4 minutes apart for 7 hours last night, so I had to spend the night in the hospital hooked up to machinery. But I'm tired. And I want to rest. And yes, I am drinking plenty of water.
Is my body just freaky or can anyone relate? This just seems so wrong to me.
The doctor just keeps saying: "Call if you have more than 4 or 5 an hour." Geez, I would have to call 5 times a day.
