There is a sub-culture of Christians (some of them post here) who believe the "full-quiver" philosophy, homeschool their children, believing that is the only way, don't allow their wives to work, and keep them submissive with long hair and long dresses.
Well, if this lifestyle suits the individuals, then good on them! Maybe this lifestyle is what God has called them to. Maybe God wants those particular families to have many children etc.
However, I think it is extremely wrong for those people to push their lifestyles onto the rest of us, saying they are "elite" Christians, thinking they are so much more holier than the rest of us, and practically condemning us to hell!
Well, being a long dress wearing, homeschooling mother of 10 just isn't for every Christian! Christians come in many shapes and sizes and lifestyles and it is just wrong to say that one particular lifestyle is "better and more holier" than everyone else! Some Christians just simply want 2, 3 or 4 children and can't handle anymore! Some have mortgages, (and DON'T wish to move to a ghetto so they can afford to breed like rabbits), some have other responsibilities, there are many reasons why some people are better off with lesser children.
I believe that if the contraception being used is not abortive, then it is not wrong. We all agree that abortion is wrong. Well preventing a conception is different than destroying an unborn child!
