Have you taken into consideration the plausable hypothesis that meteors and astroids colliding with the earth, would create the exact conditions you are talking about?...Global dust plumes, major climatic changes....?

Geologists are in agreement that the Continental Drift creeps along at the speed of finger nail growth. If there was any major acceleration, or if this has drastically slowed down, it would be evident and recorded in the various mountain ranges, as Smilie alluded to.



Is there such indication in the mountains?

Yes, and they would, I think, produce some of the shorter duration spikes.
The one at 2209 B.C., the third spike on the graph, when Hale-Bopp last passed, is I think one of these.
And the tallest spike just after the Krakatoa eruption may be from a comet or meteor.
Impacts from falling rocks would hit and then dissipate, as opposed to land masses colliding which would be of longer duration as they have inertia to overcome and dissipate.

This core is showing the dust content in the atmosphere. So it should show all of these things.
Volcanic eruptions, comet or meteor strikes, land masses colliding.
And all of these things cause the climatic changes.
Land masses colliding would also cause volcanic activity, I would think.

I do not know. But the large mountain ranges would have been created by the land masses colliding. And the collisions and drag would have caused them to slow down.

To me it just seems like simple logic.
The ice core is showing the dust content in the atmosphere, and the higher the dust content the colder the climate. This is what the scientists say also. They use this graph to show the ice ages and other climatic changes.

And a moving body that collides with another moving body tend to slow things down a bit. Unless they bounce off each other.
But in the case of land masses, it is like taking two clods of dirt and squishing them together. The process is the same as they are teaching, it just happened faster than they think at the beginning of the process.
And not quite so far back in time.
But as the leading edges of the masses come together it would, it seems to me, build up the area with all the material being forced into the other mass, thus creating a mountain range.
And it also seems to me that volcanoes could be formed in this process.

I understand the idea of using simple logic to draw conclusions. But, as I have stated before, I am not a geologist, nor a scientist. So, I won't pretend to have all the factors and data to draw any accurate conclusions.

As to the core, I have no idea.
And determining the cause of each spike, there are only a few that I have found to be able to determine.
Hale-Bopp quite possibly.
Krakatoa seems pretty obvious. If I have an event and a date and a spike I feel it is a pretty sure thing.
Others like that tallest spike after Krakatoa are hardder to determine.

And WinAce can make fun, but the last laugh will be on him.
I am not afraid of being made fun of, or I would not be spouting things that everyone but me thinks is crazy. I may be wrong on certain points, but in the overall picture I know that I am right.

You may not be a scientist, nor am I.
But we are not stupid either. Nor unintelligent. The basic principles are not all that hard to understand. It is more a matter of looking at things objectively and trying to fit the pieces together.
The objectivity of either secular scientists or creation scientists always seem to me to stop at a certain point.
I, on the other hand, just want to know the Truth, whatever Truth is.
So I will look at all of it from every angle I can think of. Not only those fitting a certain set of objectives.
And if that leads to the Truth being found in science then I must accept it.
If it leads to the God of the Bible, or of Islam, I will accept it.
If it leads to everything being integrated, as I think it does, then that is what I accept.
Right now I think that the God of the Bible is the true God, and that evidence in the scientific realm supports that, and visa versa.
I just do not accept the conclusions that the current scientific community or the Christian community draw. They each want to exclude the other, and that I can not accept.
Everything must agree as one for me to be happy;-)
