Constructive Criticism needed

I'm writing a musical based on the life of Moses, and I need help critiquing it. It's not done (I'm very close to finishing the first act).

Something to keep in mind is that this is intended to be almost entirely sung-through.
Also, remember that I have very little space to get Moses from Egypt to Midian, get called by God, and then back to Egypt. I need to have as much room as possible for the plagues in the second act.
