  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Apparently a 22 page FBI complaint has been filed in regards to the birth certificate that Obama released and apparently Obama's attorney that has been paid to squelch the "birther" issue is no longer in the white house.

This is the beginning of the end for the American president. They are saying Hillary Clinton will be put up as the 2012 Democratic candidate.

nice try, but that is totally meaningless.

some loon mailed a unsolicited "report" to the FBI (anyone can google it), whining the usual whines about the dear leader that you can find anywhere on the internets.

the FBI didn't file a "complaint." some unpaid intern will give it all the attention it deserves.

I like a hobby as much as the next guy, but this birtherism seems a little obsessive. don't you get kinda frustrated at your complete lack of success to the point where maybe, in the middle of the night, you wake up, and have a nagging little thought that you're totally wrong and just wasting your time?

This is total hypocrisy! You would not blink an eye if McCain had won even though he was born on foreign soil (not in an US military baracks but in a normal Panamanian Hospital).
It is my opinion that You are just upset that a Black man is your President!
