Has anyone been to see Constantine , the movie yet???

I have, i thought it was great

I saw it the week it was released.I rate it well here and without giving out too much on it,everyone I went with to the film had a different opinion.Some like it,some think it was just ok.

I am fortunate to have the opportunity to watch all movies before they are released so I do not have to deal with the obnoxious audience, and its because of this, I generally rate movies higher. I really liked the movie, albeit, I found it to be fantasy, but a great one at that. The movie was nothing new or special, but still found a way to entertain. My favorite part was the 20 second scene at the end of/after the credits.

Pretty solid movie - I liked it. Others pan it as a comic-book movie and therefore sucks. They're the type who thought that Spiderman was a good movie though (ie - no taste )

I haven't seen Constantine, but I liked Spider-Man.

I thought the movie was good. But I always worry that movies like this will leave unsolid and non christians down the wrong paths. I think that things that are holy need to be holy and set apart. Not that I dont think you can use the bible or scriptures in film. I would just like to see more truths shown like The Passion. Am I the only one who feels this way? Don't mean to hurt anyones feelings. So I apologize in advance if I did.

I know what you mean. But we can't win 'em all. Hopefully those who are curious about some of these things will use their brains and do a bit of checking. Heck, even those who aren't curious will use their brains and dismiss some of the things in the movie simply because they understand it's a movie.

No offense, but find another battle to fight. Trust me, Constantine is not going to warp any minds. If it does, then send them to me. I may have a few unicorns to sell them.

Oh, and the Passion was ment as a true tale. Constantine is not. Alot of people can tell the difference. Only children will have a hard time, and kids should be not seeing R movies anyway, so don't fret.

I thought it was a great movie. The only thing I hated was the 'good people go to Heaven' theology.

After the first night for Constantine here in Norway they counted how many tickets they sold, and to their surprise the number of visitors were 666. Isn't that ironic? Or?

woah thats quite weird. i thought the movie was really good. Good story, but i hope it doesnt put out the wrong message. Rite was it just me, or the way Constantine got his lighter out and lit it, did that annoy any1 else?
