I get so bored with the standard explanations.

I want some of the alien abduction stories to be true. Aliens would be cool.

• Things wouldn't weigh less at the equator if the Earth was stationary.

Lots of other things that make a stationary Earth completely impossible.

That's not what I'm asking. I want to know how they work. They come from somewhere, since they're not visible, just hang around for a couple of weeks, and then they disappear again. What's the explanation for that?

Aliens will not be "cool"

Aliens are not from another planet... They are from another dimension.

The bible talks about different "heavens". These are different dimensions. We are stuck in this "space/time" continuum.

However, angels and demons are not.

Aliens are demonic.. They are malevolent. They are inter dimensional beings that do not have your best interest at heart... if they had hearts.

Gravity. Hydrogen rises in Earth's atmosphere for the same reason wood floats in water. This is why the Earth has a thick atmosphere, and the moon has very little atmosphere; gravity matters. It's why light gases like hydrogen and helium slowly escape the atmosphere; Earth's gravity is not sufficient to hold them. But Jupiter's gravity is.
