CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Did you know that in missouri it was legal to kill a mormon up until the 1960-70s(06 to 70-ish, not sure of the exact date of when someone noticed that unused law and took care of it) Kinda funny, actually.... Only in america.reg said:

From a biological point of view, once the sperm meets the egg it becomes a living thing apart from your body. It's genetic code is different from you. I am totally against partial birth abortions (once you've gone that far you should stay the whole ride). I am in favor of abortion when it comes to rape, incest, or health of the mother. The problem with that is people may start to claim "rape" when they want an abortion...

Statistically speaking, there are many women who do go back for more than 2 (although they is a small minority). I think if you go back for more than one, you've got your priorities messed up and probably don't even care that you are reckless with sex. If you are raped and get pregnant twice, than what I said doesn't apply.

At the moment of conception a baby is a baby. It has everything necessary, including a brain.
Actually here's a few facts for you:
By 6 weeks all vital organs are present: brain waves can be recorded.
as you might be aware most abortions are done around this time.
By weeks a baby responds to painful stimuli. It can grasp things.
By 10 weeks it has fingerprints and footprints and sucks his thumb!
By 11 weeks he inhales and exhales amniotic fluid
By 16 weeks fingernails, eyelashes present

But forcing celibacy on everybody has never worked, does not work now, and will never work. Those who want to have sex need to be shown how not to get pregnant (unless they want to have a child) and how to stay healthy.
So, I'll state the obvious again:
The most effictive way of reducing the number of abortions is to increase sex education and increase access to contraception.
