Ignoring is the best thing. Why spend valuable time in discussing such remarks. It only gives these people a feeling of importance and people who think they can discriminate and ignore the rights of a human being, is too much credit for them, even if you disagree. You are not allowed to refuse someone because he/she is gay.....it happens though and they come up with all kinds of excuses. But it is a violation of the human rights bill and therefor these people should be punished according to law for discriminating....simple.....

To me these people haven't anything valuable to ad to my thoughts and feelings about love respect and compassion.

PS: I believe that not all republicans are gay haters.........or even homophobic. Can't imagine they are. It sounds weird, but I'll bet they do excist...LOL

I called these politicians who asked to fire her, idiots....It was deleted from my post and I got points for flaming these conservative republican(s)....well.....give me more because people who had asked that, these so-called politicians who seem to represent all people in a country are idiots! Keep her on anyway. I don't give the finger so I couldn't vote that. He ability to do the job well has nothing to do with who she has sex with. If a statement giving a slap on the hand to stuck up conservatives is needed then I would do it. Asking her to step down would send the wrong message about the worth of people.

This is what I hate about titles like this. Instead of saying just conservatives, you could have just said California Republicans. Not all conservatives are Republicans, therefore, your misleading with your title.

you've still failed to prove prejudice - I hold no specific willfully followed sinful lifestyle to any higher standard than any other. If *I* persist in practicing any of the sinful lifestyles/behaviors I incur the same outcome as does anyone else who does. And whilst I understand that civil law mandates that I not be excluded from employment nin the civil arena, I would be foolishly arrogant to expect that I would be employable in a ministry based on obedience to and teaching of G-d's standards as He instructs in His word.

I fully recognize that many folks are convinced that G-d is prejudiced or that those who try to live according to the standards of His word are also prejudiced. I deny that is true. But I have no illusions that you or they will either accept or understand that

God isn’t prejudiced.. but many people who say they are his followers are and are more than happy to use the bible to justify prejudice and discrimination if it suits them

it is very clear - the bible says nothing about a prefernece or exclusion based on skin color - nothing new about that, nothing earth shaking
