• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

It's a great place to go and see people chat without a profanity filter :D
k, let me ask this way, what does IIDB stand for? And is it some other Christian forum board of some kind?
Or is it an area within THIS site?

It stands for Internet Infidels.

It's ostensibly a secular forum, but it's vile. Have seen *numerous* threads on bestiality and paedophilia there. ~E~ is a little bit of it where loads of CF people post. Most of them are good people, but it's where this site is discussed and gossiped about endlessly. It's where the "loud few" organize and engineer.

It's almost our sister forum with the amount of cross-over, and it's appalling. It has a thread - which it wears like a badge of honour - detailing the people it has single-handedly deconverted from Christianity.

It's a dark, dark place.

I got mad, though, because I made a joking comment about Erwin. And they edited saying that if he'd seen it he wouldn't have known it was an joke and since their rules state that you can only flame people who aren't members in good standing, Erwin might think of it as a flame.

1. as IF Erwin was even gonna see it and ..

2. What kind of bull turdy rule is it that you can only flame people who aren't registered at their site?

Roolz.

What I find humorous about IIDB is that they post many links to the forum, and usually when they do that, they all come in to peek to see what's going on. It's very easy to pick out who they are. Some already go by the same name as here, but some go with different names. Perfect example was the thread that T2BC did about the definition for a christian in the debate section. Most if not all the "visitors" are the people from over there. They throw in a "witty" comment and go back over there to pat each other on the backs for doing so.

I used to post on that site eons ago. Not anymore cause I grew tired of some of the people's personalities.

That is an actual rool. I kid you not. And get this. It's NOT against the roolz to flame a member who is NOT in good standing on their site. So for instance, drstevej is fair game because he's banned. They can flame him all they want and he can't defend himself.

Nice. Nothin' like integrity :) Still, genuinely funny.
