• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

to answer your question i will have to ask you one. Do you have children that are school-aged because there are some school systems in CT that are lacking. You'll have to do some research into that. Southington public school systems are in the top of the list but is getting very crowded

And, as you already can guess, I'm from Southington (hehe)
Nice to see all of you that are from this small state:wave:

Hi Brian,

I'm also in Fairfield. I go to Black Rock Congregational Church. I pass St. Paul's just about every day.

Hope to see you around these threads.

Hello to all our friends in Norwalk and around the beautiful state of CT.

Blessings in Christ,

WashedClean

Black Rock - eh? I just started going to the Sunday night group - Sanctuary. Great church you've got there!!

Why? Not to sound mean but it's a rat race and way too expensive. I would not move back there for a million bucks.
haha... yeah it is expensive but I'm going to college here and it's my home for now :)

northeast is a great part to live. if i didn't grow up there. i'd move back in a heart beat. its enough in the middle of nowhere so there isn't alot of crime but you are close enough to providence, boston, hartford, new haven, and worcester so you'll never be bored. i miss home so much. i live in tennessee and it sucks...
where are you moving ot CT from?

all of my family and i mean ALL, lives in conn. milford, wilimantic, southwinsor. i lived about 6 years in little NH as a kid. ironically, now i live in texas because of my dad's job. sometimes i'm really home sick for the north. so i like readying about it in here..keeps me kind'a included. i think it's so pretty up north! one thing i love and miss about conn. is the "crying rocks"..as my dad puts it. they're so awesome! its weird coming from, "hey..i'm going to vermont or mass. today..i'll be back tonite." to, "hey..i'm going to austin, i'll be back tomorrow." texas is HUGE! everything is so different. and i miss duncan donuts!!!!!!!!!!!!! pity on those who have never been there...my friends just don't understand.
