Hey there Ya'll,

This week Was an awsome week for us with our youth group at the church that I attend. We had the chance to go to a first ever youth evangilism (sp) conference. I do not know if it is a traveling thing or if it was just put on by the SBCV here in VA.

All I can tell you is if it does come near you I would highly reccommend going to it.

I would highly reccomend this site that is set up to be used as a tool for us to connect a freind with God.

That really does sound great. Are you a member of this youth group or a counselor within it, though? I would love to still be in a youth group when I'm 27. :lol:

Some people still call them "youth groups" even though it takes place at the college level and the members are not teenagers anymore. That's a pet peeve of mine, we are all adults, I call mine a "campus ministry."

lol. But then you are assuming that they are all students.

we call ours "college & careers" since it includes the larger spectrum of the age range.

I am a youth leader and work with the assosiate pastor in charge of the youth. The youth group in the church goes from 6th grade to 12th. After that you go to clllege &careers which is about to change from 18-30 to 18-25, and since I am the only one that is over 24 in that group I hope to be able to stay in that class. I have extreamly too much fun in there.

Ditto. My sister and I used to joke about single 'sightings'. 'Group' means there are at least two of you, right? I'm trying to remember...
