It makes me so angry that lies are promoted so openly so that people who are good at heart (as most people are) are duped into thinking the problems don't exist, and that moreover, they, the taxpayers, are being cheated.

Perhaps you can now related to how so many of us felt, as border towns were being destroyed and emergency rooms overwhelmed, that the border was safe, secure, and closed.

My husband just got out of the hospital because of neurological complications of covid. We just got the bill. They wanted 12,000 for 2 days. The VA paid $5,000. We owed nothing. Don't try to tell me that there are tens of millions of people who could spend $5,000 for 2 days in the hospital without it seriously impacting their bottom line.

I’m not sure what you are trying to say, bit I know people who went into one of those hospitals that didn’t take insurance for like a knee replacement, and the cost wasn’t above $3,000 for everything. It was SIGNIFICANTLY less.

If these facilities became public knowledge there would be stampedes, and I live in one of the least expensive areas of the country and there aren't any around here.
There are sliding scale clinics for people with low incomes here and there but that generosity does not extend to hospitals. There are no sliding scale hospitals.

All I can do is google for private hospitals that don't take insurance but because of google's algorithm, I am not shown the information I request. I am not sure how the people find out about them.
