Yes. I'm sure you're going to tell me the Library of Congress couldn't find such a quote. I'm going to tell you "So what?" It was quoted in an AMA pamphlet in 1945, attributed as a requote from American socialist Norman Thomas in 1927. If the socialists believed he said it, even if he didn't, it is no less indicative of the truth of their agenda.

Is this your way of saying that it's O.k. that Carson lied on national television because the sentiment of what he was trying to convey was true?

Carson didn't lie. Though the U.S. Library of Congress had no context for the quote, it has been cited from the beginning of the Russian revolution in multiple international publications. The AMA pamphlet was the last publication to use it in the U.S. The fact the LofC doesn't have a record of it doesn't mean anyone lied or made something up. It simply means the LofC doesn't have a record of it. It isn't the only thing they don't have on file. Why isn't my book in the Library of Congress?

If you bother to read that link, you will see that the Library of Congress receives its books by donations and by referral from the U.S. Copyright Office. If Lenin's remarks were in a newspaper article in Europe, there is no reason to think the LofC has it on file. The persistent and consistent use of the quote over the last 90 or so years indicates it is an actual Lenin quote, so I guess you'll have to find something else you can attempt to smear Dr. Carson with prior to his announcing a candidacy.

That's unassailable logic - we have no evidence for it, but it's been repeated for nearly a century so therefor it's true.

Hyperbole is not your friend.

Dr. Carson with prior to his announcing a candidacy.

His YECism is more than enough to disqualify him.

....There is no way to tell if someone has that illness when they are without symptoms.
That's totally bogus. Wrong. Incorrect. "Bad science." The virus is present in the blood and other bodily fluids before symptoms occur. Viral loads are measurable before symptoms appear, but until they are high enough, a blood test taken a few days after exposure cannot tell you you don't have the disease, it can only tell you you don't have enough of the virus in your system to be measurable. Viral loads can reach a level of measurability to confirm the disease before symptoms appear. If viral loads never appear at a measurable level, then and only then can you be said to be free of Ebola -- or any other viral disease, for that matter.
