So what happens in 2015?
Basically every high-tech industry imaginable has uses for helium, from chilling MRI magnets to producing fiber optics and LCD screens.

But according to Nobel Prize winner Robert Richardson, the problem is that the U.S. government is giving away helium like a discount VCR warehouse: as much as it can, as cheap as it can. In 1996, Congress passed a law requiring the U.S. government to sell off our helium stockpile by 2015. This has forced the price of the gas way, way lower than it should be, considering how little of the stuff is actually left in the world (Richardson says a balloon's worth would cost $100 if the market were allowed to set the price).

America will be completely fleeced of all its gold reserves by 2013 (the FED takes 1% per year) and you're worried about helium balloons?!?

The Hindenburg flew just fine without helium. Don't worry about it:)

You should have read the article... it's not about balloons;)

Anyone heard of Helium-3 experiments? Some say that it is the fuel of the future.

Unfortunately China is poised to own the moon. the 1967 Outer Space Treaty, of which China is a member, declared the Moon "is to be used for the betterment of all mankind" and cannot be owned by any particular nation. However, there is a clause in the treaty allows for any nation to opt out of the agreement with one year's notice. Given China's giant head start on gong to the moon and landing to stay, we may need to ask permission to land in the future.
This is relevant because Helium-3 comes from the moon.

YouTube - Hindenberg

china has bought over 450 tons of silver and 30 tons of gold as they are behind those cash for gold commercials. Once they have taken enough US gold and silver out of this country, we will never be able to avoid a world currency by going back to the gold/silver standard.

I agree that water, at least clean water, is running low. When the delta of a major US river is no longer being supplied by the very river it belongs to you know that the western states are using up ALOT of water. I'm talking about the Rio Grande, which has tributaries from the Green and Colorado rivers, rivers that Wyoming, Utah, Colorado and Nevada use as water sources. Many times those tributaries don't reach the Grande, which is also used by other states as a source of water. Thus the Rio is no longer reaching its once fertile delta
This is just pure water supplies. I'm not even talking about the bottled water companies that buy the rights to water in a particular area to sell in grocery stores. This denies water rights to the people living in the area, but it also contributes to plastic pollution in the Pacific Ocean. If water becomes privatized then we could very well have a water shortage even if there was still alot of water to be had.
You've also got to take into account spring run offs in the mountains, population growth in major cities, and the amount of water that falls during the year. There's also the change of natural disasters that contaminate water supplies, or completely block off aquifers and rivers from water treatment facilities.

I agree that Christians shouldn't worry, but we should do what we can to keep it from happening simply because that's good stewardship. So Christians, turn off those faucets when you brush your teeth, put a gallon jug of water in your toilet, and for the sake of all that's holy, turn off your sprinkling system after a rain shower. You have no idea how many times I've walked home to see automatic sprinkler systems going off right after or during a rainstorm!
