Confusion about Prayer language (tongues)

So, if the charismatics/pentacostal are the most belivers who pray in tongues, why is it then that the most tongues speaker evengalist-preachers that we see , the famous ones struggle with pride, greed for money? If baptism of the holy spirit/tongues should make a shift. I also did pray tongues, I notice I get attacks, some stuff bubbles up, anger, lust. Why that is then? I also fund out that voodoo breasts do pray in tongues and other occults. Can you guys explain further? If devil doesn't want us to be build up. Why we see so much mess among preachers who speak tongues the most? Hours a day, and they seem to preach lot prosperity gospel, power, signs that they are mostly after, if that builds us up, wouldn't that be that it makes us more humble, seeking love instead worldly power, money etc? Wouldn't be that we have the opposite effect, becoming Christ like, not world like? Can someone explain why is that so?

I try best as I can to not judge, but I wonder does tongues really build us up, or are we misunderstood about use of tongues? I myself pray in tongues some short time, but I sometimes think and have fear, what if iam deceived, I do notice that since I start pray I get more attacked , more issues come up, lust, negative feelings, annoyed etc, why is that so? is there freedom? Some also claim how tongues purge them and is the key walking inf freedom fro sin, so can u kindly explain me , I would like to know more..

You might want to refresh on that one as the Lord did say ", , be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might." (Ephesians 6:10) It is most of us know, a mix of both humility and vigilance.

It's a fair assessment, and a popular one. May I advise you to review 1 Cor 12 and 1 Cor 14. If Jesus enables us, He promises to carry it out in perfect fashion,

"And which father among you, if the son will ask for a fish, and instead of a fish, will give to him a serpent? Or also if he will ask for an egg, will he give to him a scorpion? Therefore if you, being evil, know to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the Father who is in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those asking Him!” (Luke 11:11-13)​

There's a "diversities of tongues" II Cor 12:28. Some Biblical purposes for tongues are:
-Personal prayer language - Speaking to/with God (I Cor 14:4)
-Intercessory prayer language - Praying for others in the Spirit (Rom 8:26-27).
-Warfare language - Tongues directly aimed at demonic strongholds (Eph 6:18-19)
-Prophetic language - Addressing the whole church/preferably with interpretation - (I Cor 12:10; 14:5, 26)
-Singing in the Spirit - Singing in tongues/worship activity (I Cor 14:14-15)
-Praise language - Magnifying the Lord in worship tongues ( Acts 10)
-Evangelistic language - Speaking the message of God to a people in their own language (not learned by the speaker). (Acts 2: 4, 6. 8).
(Saint Steven, a CF poster, gave permission to use his basic list).
It does build us up, Jude 20).

There's "...the doctrine of baptism s..." (Heb 6:2). There's 3 main Biblical baptisms, immersions.

1 - By The Holy Spirit into Jesus reconcilng us to God (at salvation). By this iimmersion we are a new creature in Christ (ii Cor 5:17).
2- By another believer. All 3 persons of the Godhead involved in this, the water baptism, as well.
3 - ByJesus who sends the promise of the Father baptists us "by," "with" and "in" the Holy Spirit and comes upon us (The Spirit baptism)
includes when the Holy Spirit comes upon us, He endures us with power for service to Him and to keep His Word. (Matt 3:11; Mark 1:8, Luke 3:16; John 1:33, Acts 1:5, 8:14-17, 10:44-48, 11:16; Luk 24:49, Eph 5:18, Acts 4:31; I John 3:24; Eze 36:25-28; John 14:25-27).

That's why ia, mostly scared of, counterfeit, I dont want to blasphemy God/Holy Spirit. But then I see some fruit and also sometimes when I pray, some negativity come up, annoyance old sins, memories. In beginning there were weird manifestations, that I dont know if I can share here. But some claim that this is normal, and that devil dont want us to pray in tongues etc.

Because for us "If you then, despite your evil nature, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask him" Matt 7:11

yes. Amen, that verse I have meditated. But I just had some fears, so if I seen some of the famous preachers, and see how they behaved, and knowing that they pray hours per day in tongues, and all they focus is power and power.. u know what I mean? I dont want to judge or call out, but many of them are very greedy and money hungry. I just wondered, if tongues can make us actually less flesh seeking? I its hard for me to explain without sounding judgmental

Is this common, that things come up to surface while praying in tongues, many people tend not talk about it, it can be uncomfortable sometimes
