ok..but i still don't know what to do
OK! It is not this difficult. So I will help you if I can. Here is what should be done.
1) Put your mind at ease about your salvation. IS ther a time that you made a conscious decision to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour.
Did you ever say to Him, Lord, I am a sinner and I know I am lost and cannot save myself. I ask You now to forgive ALL my sins and save me and come into my heart and be my Lord, and I will serve you the rest of my life.
Have you ever done that or prayed a prayer anything like that? Have you followed Him in believers Baptism? Have you publically confessed Him before others? Have you made a connection with a body of believers? IF you have done all these things then do not doubt your salvation. For Jesus said that any one that comes to Him, He will in no wise cast out.
Now if you have done these things, yet you know you have not lived the life you should live and that you have fallen short, and have made mistakes and regret the things you have done, then welcome to the world of the human Christian. We ALL make these mistakes and we ALL shoulr re-dedicate our lives to Christ daily.
But to answer your question specifically, IF you feel you should walk down the ailse and rededicate your life to Christ then DO IT. But do it for Jesus, and for your own Peace of mind and heart and to please your Saviour. NO OTHER REASON.
It is really that simple. You are not required by God to walk an aisle. Salvation and rededication happens in the heart. Only AFTER it happens in the heart should you profess it before men, if this is what you feel led of the Holy Spirit to do.
But do not worry. Just because you felt one way one day and differently the next does not mean you have committed a grievous sin. We all have different feelings at different times. Salvation is NOT based on "feelings". Hope this will help you.
