plz pray for me i am confused by the denominational teachings. maybe someone could answer my questions about some stuff?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You should ask questions on the different boards of denominations to obtain an understanding of doctrines that confuse you. Ask what you wish but most importantly (and is the first thing you should do) ask the Lord to show you what's right.

What better denomination is there than JC's? Go to God's Word and let THAT be your source. I pray that you will seek Him in His Word and not through doctrines. Just an interesting footnote: I was discussing the Bible with a friend last week. She had two different Bibles and for THE SAME VERSE the footnotes had two DIFFERENT interpretations, but God's Word still said the same thing.

thanks all...i am honestly so sick of religion that i am starting to read the Bible from the beginning and it's so much more interesting than it has ever been. God is really making it come alive for me. I will still go to church...but plz pray for me to find a home church to connect with. Thankyou for your prayers!
