Hello everyone!

Demara here! :3 I'm a 18 year old teenager and I'm a born again Christian. I am like.....I don't know anymore. I don't feel like a threat to Satan....everyone has something happening to them for when they say how the devil is trying to pick like a fight with them, like trying to bring them down to there knees, however with me..it doesn't happen to me anymore, you're probably wondering that's a good thing, does it mean that I don't have like a purpose? I don't even know what my purpose is to begin with. I'm confused on this whole thing. I don't even know what I want anymore.

Hopefully you guys understand what I'm trying to say here

each person is a threat to satan, though in different ways. we all go through different times in life, we each have highs and lows in life. while you may not know what your part in God's plan is, rest assured that you do have a part, we all play a role in His plan. if you want to know more about your role, then there's two things i would suggest that have helped me a lot. the first would be to talk to God about it. spend time praying and asking for direction. the second would be to get to know more about yourself and what your abilities are. knowing about yourself can help you realize your strengths and how you can use them. taking a personality test can really help you know yourself better, i would suggest trying the meyers-brigg personality test. that is as much as i can suggest from what you've told us.

I've been a Christian my whole life but after truly deciding my life would be for God I felt things would start happening. I've had mass depression for about 6 years and keeping God at the centre of my life keeps it dormant. The last year or so has been quite difficult because I was in the same spot as you; I had given my life to God and nothing happened, I doubted quite often that there was even purpose to living but after a reasonable amount of prayer things started to change. I'm now starting missionary work and I'm starting uni in September to do Applied Theology. The problem we have as humans is that we can't see what God's doing and this leads to our doubt that he's doing anything with us at all.

A couple of things to remember:
Everything is in God's timing - Habakkuk 2:3, Isaiah 40:31, Ecclesiastes 8:6.
No matter what happens remember everything God does is for the good of his people - Romans 8:28.
God has a plan for you - Jeremiah 29:11, Acts 26:16, John 15:16.
Patience is a necessity (and a gift of the Spirit) - Galatians 6:9, Psalm 37:7-9.
God loves you - 1 Peter 5:7.

Hope this helps and pray about any and all anxieties as in Philippians 4:6.
If you have any questions feel free to message me.

Alexander :)
