Confused Dream

I dreamed I was so confused, I was demented. I was laying on the floor and didn't think of calling out but, there was a door (don't know were it went might have even been a closet door) but, to draw attention to someone in the other room or downstairs I banged on it and scratched at the wooden door that was painted with dark stain like at my mom's house, but, this place was different. Anyways I end up being in a hospital, that's ok but, then I am discharged prematurely because I'm still having issues. Part of the dream they told me I had to start taking another medication... but, it didn't work. That's all I can remember, If anyone can give me some insight into what this might mean I'd sure appreciate it. All interpertations welcome

I hesitate to give my opinion because I think if it is from the Lord, then it is specific to your circumstances that no one on this forum knows about. In other words, some dreams can be interpreted any number of different ways, and your circumstances known only to you will determine what it is. I can provide what I think the interpretation is, but it may be totally incorrect, but may be true to someone else with a different set of circumstances. My interpretation may even be damaging.

Perhaps it would help if you shared a little about yourself, and whether you're confused at church, or am not being helped on a particular issue by your church. Houses often represent the church. Closets may also represent some hidden part of your life. The color of the closet may indicate that it's related to your family.

From your dream, it sounds like you are trapped inside a building and that you can’t escape.

I can immediately think of a couple of possible interpretations.

(1)[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]You are trapped in a situation that you are having a difficult time getting out of.

(2)[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]The building that you are trapped in is your physical body.

You also wrote that you ended up in a hospital. Although being injured or ill in a dream is probably not good, being in a hospital is a good sign. The hospital is a place of healing. In some of the dreams that have I looked at, the hospital is a “safe” place. It is where the dreamer can go when she (or he) is under a lot a stress in a dream. The dreamer can go to the hospital to rest, relax and recharge his or her batteries.

Additional note:
Spiritual types sometimes develop the ability to go on “dream” journeys. These are out-of-body experiences. This may not be something that the dreamer actively seeks, but is rather a natural result of being a sensitive, spiritual person.

was last night. It was very misty and foggy in the dream so I didn't see too much but, a really big montster came out of the mist something like a snake but, really, really big with a lot of teeth. So in the dream I immediately knelt down and started praying Hail Mary's and maybe an Our Father then the dream switched scenes... At some part of the dream I was trying to break through a window and having difficulty... that's all I remember

Sometimes, people who have had a very bad experience in their waking life will have nightmares in which the attack (or abuse) keeps being repeated in dream after dream – like a broken record. If this is your situation, fighting back in your dream can help. For some, these types of attacks will then virtually disappear within a few dreams. Many Christians and non-Christians, as well, believe that there are evil spirits out there. They are probably right. Thus, it may be that you were attacked by such a monster. If there are evil spirits, then we should not be too surprised to learn that that are also friendly and even helpful spirits. Sounds like many of the Christians that we know.

You wrote that you were trying “to break through a window….” Here again the dream house that you are in can symbolize your physical body. Thus, this sounds like you are having another dream in which you are trying to escape your body.

The big teeth hint at another possibility. The mouth and, by extension, the teeth can be symbols of talking. Thus, it may be that some people are saying bad things about you. Or, less likely, you could be saying bad things about them.

well ya maybe.. I've been in kind of a rut for a bit, with nothing really going on... and I'm kind of bored with stuff. Could this be why I have such interesting dreams?

It sounds like you are saying that all spirits are evil. Thus, if we can identify one spirit that is not evil, then perhaps it is time to do a little rethinking.

I suspect that you are not basing your opinion on your encounters with all spirits. Instead, you are probably basing your comments on what is in the Bible.

So, is there at least one spirit in the Bible who is not evil? Yes! For most Christians, the best example is the Holy Spirit. For many of us, the nature of the Holy Spirit is not clear but I have never heard a Christian say that the HS was evil.

Any other examples? There are bunches of references to angles in the Bible. As far as can tell, most of these angels are not evil.

You could argue that these are not the kinds of spirits that you meant. OK, I guess that is reasonable. As I was typing this, I was trying to think of other Biblical spirits. The first example that came to mind was the chat that King Saul had with the spirit of the prophet Samuel. Most Christians do not consider Samuel to be evil.

In addition, I have to agree with Love233. I believe that there saintly spirits (or the spirits of saints) who are ready to offer us help and protection.
