We attend St Michael the Archangel Church. In the rear of the church is a large statue quite similar to the second picture you posted. My 3.5 yr old boy and 2 yr old little girl are at eye level with the dragon and spear as we walk out of church. They always get a big charge out of the mighty St Michael.

I have a statue of St. Michael that is similar to the first picture. The difference is that the devil has no legs in my statue...the lower body is that of a serpent.

St. Michael, defend us in battle!

I picked St. Clare. I love St. Francis, so I wanted his female counterpart. St. Clare is an awesome example of charity and selflessness and faith. I just love her. I have searched for a medal with her on it, but no luck yet.

If I knew about St. Augustine when I was 13 I probably would have made him my Confirmation name, but St. Michael is still awesome and St. Augustine still will pray for me anyway.
