  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I am scared to go into the ocean if I can't see what's swimming or crawling underneath me. When I was 5 or 6 I saw all the jaws movies with my older cousins and I think it scarred me for life.

My freshman year of college "walk from the room to the dorm shower and back" flip flops were pink, and I often wore bright neon yellow pajamas.

When my boss is on a business trip I wear jeans to work.

When I was 8 I had to "draw" the Our Father in my First Communion book. So, for the first line I drew a picture of God with a beret painting at an easel. When the priest asked what that was about, I replied to him matter of factly, "Our Father, who art in Heaven.." ^_^

As a mom of a very artistic young boy, I think that's wonderful! I can totally see my son doing something similar. I hope you didn't get in trouble for it.
