Conecting with strangers

Last night I was walking to a friends house and saw a women sitting on the curb and she looked like she was crying. I went beside her and asked if she was OK. We ended up talking for at least an hour and for me, she was a God send in my life for what I needed and I was the same.

God helped us both meet to help each other. It's like our lives are so similar but we both conquered different things and can help each other with the things we need help in.

She was sitting on that curb, asking God for for help and not believing in people or His grace anymore. I sat beside her and she saw God answer a prayer. I ended up talking more about me and it was the person I needed to help in my difficulties.

Praise God! We are never abandoned and performs small miracles all the time.

something similar just happened to me...i work in retail, and a customer came in and i sensed the Holy Spirit nudging me to talk to her about faith. i have a really hard time talking about Jesus to strangers, but i tried to just get talking to her. we ended up having soooo much in common with each other. she talked about her marriage, her family and some tough experiences she had had, that i could relate to. finally, i shared that i was a Christian. she said that she was too!! so, it was just like God put her there to share with. i feel so much joy right now it is indescribable. the Holy Spirit is amaaaazing!!
