Conditioning The Mind

I am not sure exactly where to post this thread at... and feel free to move it to a different forum board if necessary.

I have been getting into expansion of the mind. And I would just like some Christian feedback on this idea of practicing telekinesis. Telekinesis is moving objects with the power of the mind and without the power of physics. I believe it is possible, as it is just another section of the brain we neglect to use since newborns. It takes intense training and concetration. I want to learn this technique. I see it no different than learning trigonometry... we are trained over a period of years how to do something so complex. But so many Christians think this is a spiritual evil, divination, magic or sorcery.

I just want some other Christian opinions. I am saved, and I live for God to the best of my ability... but I just wonder if telekinesis goes against what God is and orders. Thanks.

IMHO I would work to expand my mind on more productive levels. It's a waste of time and energy to try to do what you suggest. It's easier to get up and get your cup of coffee than trying to make it come to you.

You might get some better answers in the Spiritual Warfare forum, or the Christian Advice forum. The people over there are experienced in discerning spiritual matters, and can help you decide whether that's something a Christian should be practicing.
