  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

There's not really a way to know for sure unless you were charting when you ovulated but it would have been approx. 2 weeks before your period was due. If you plug in your LMP into this website it'll give you your estimated conception date.

I know I had just asked the doc about this this a.m. Becasue I was wondering why they say pregnancy is 40 weeks? I said in all reality it is 38 & he said yes & was telling me I was the first one to have said something to him about that. And that the added 2 weeks is just for those who don't know when conception was.

I pretty much know the conception due to we planned it that way to where we would know the day. :)

We were charting and I know when I ovulated so it was a 72 hour window. The date that falls in there in the anni of when We told eachother we loved eachother and always celebrate it with dinner etc so I'd like to think it was that day. :p

At www.pregnancy.org, when you go to check out their pregnancy calenders, if you put in the date of your last period, it'll give your estimated conception date and estimated dute date.

Even if you know your ovulation date, that doesn't guarantee it's when you Conceived... And, if that doesn't muddle things enough, some women "bake" their babies longer than the average, while others "bake" their babies in Less time....

;) LOL

Well I did one of those conception calculator things and it says the day the that I thought. For us we had a bad month TTC there is only 3 days that it could have been, one day before I was supposed to ovulate, the day the ovulation test said I would be ovulating, and 4 days after that. So by process of elimination I would think it has to be the second because the first I hadn't ovulated yet and the four days after ovulation would have been impossible right?

Actually, you have to add in the sperm factor... Sperm can live (under the right conditions) for up to 5 days in your body... So it's possible that the day Before you ovulated and were intimate, the sperm were still active and you got pregnant as soon as you ovulated. (So that would cover the first two situations).

It's possible, but not as probable, that you got pregnant 4 days after ovulation. So I'd go with the second one too. LOL
