There you have an answer. Funny how he finds the snare of a woman worse then the snare of satan.

If one takes it carnally one must remember, He was STILL ~SEARCHING~ the SCHEME of THINGS and FINDING NOT... and ONLY AMONG A THOUSAND

A Woman that fears the Lord is a rare indeed and does her husband no harm. It appears that Solomon slipped through his own saying. Solomon's heart was not perfect (as was His Father Davids) and apparently his own wives turned his heart away from the Lord.

Though I will still Amen the good book. The Woman that IS A SNARE simply IS. For even HELL itself is mentioned as A HER There were Sons of MEN making two fold the children OF HELL (HER) ... So she appears as a breeding organism of snares (with set tables too)

Oh, and widowed and celibate for 6 years. Who'da thunk it?

I was talking to my great aunt Gail today. She is the one who is widowed from two marines. Ben died in 2002, and she is starting to get back to herself again. She is 75, but she was telling me that she is tired of older men. She still sounds like a spring chicken over the phone! She went on and on about two gentlemen friends of her's that she has been gradually getting closer to over the past year. The one that she likes better is "in his 60's" When I asked for the precise age, she refused to say, so presumably closer to 60 than to 69! So I replied, "Ah! So you have a boy toy!" She giggled and said, "I guess you're right!" Then she told me about her other boyfriend who she said was even younger, so much so that she hasn't even told him her age. This one really sounded like a boy toy, never married and still living at home with his family. She didn't know what I meant when I referred to the Peter Pan Syndrome.

I once had an enchanting encounter with an extremely refined and intelligent woman of 90 (she would be over 100 if still alive now). Even though it was a steal of deal with a fantastic view and very spacious, the apartment was just beyond my price range. I was just starting to get really intensely sick with fibromyalgia and I was always in a hurry trying to get done so I could just go home and rest, but something came over me and bade me to stay without thought of time, even though ostensibly it was not productive.

As I sat down to tea she went into a little detail telling me about her son and his two adopted boys that he was raising without a mother. A bit unusual. He was an architect for nuclear power plants, obviously quite intelligent, and from the conversation that followed it was obvious that his unusual choice was very intentional.

She suddenly shifted to the topic of modern women. She said, “In my day women were held as slaves. During the course of this century that slavery has been lifted, but women don’t know how to handle it, so they have all gone insane.” It was once a common cliché that the slave of a good master fares far worse when given his freedom. While self serving in a lot of cases, it is also true for example, that the black half-brother of Thomas Jefferson’s wife (Sally Hemming’s brother) promptly died of alcoholism after being freed at a young age. She was using this same analogy with regards to women.

She went on to say that she was glad that her son was raising her grand children without a mother because she would not trust any woman today to be their mother. I think that is a little extreme, but not by much! At lest I *hope* there are a couple of sane one’s out there of a young age with as much sanity and grace as ContentInHim.

Also submitting in small details [for men] is not the only time men should heed their wives. They should love their opinions and value them, and work with that.

Women are emotional creatures driven by fear and territorial instincts. Women freak out at any risk, which is why they are not allowed on battle fields. Women are driven by selfish animalist aims like territorial instincts and if given their way in all things nothing gets done because no one is allowed to take any risks, and everyone is fighting for their little piece of the pie while no real cooperation takes place.

If women were allowed to take a meaningful part in warfare any country so foolish as to give them 50/50 input in such matters would be wiped off the face of the planet in short order. Sociological studies have proven that in group behavior men and women act completely differently. Women form an egalitarian committee structure to tackle a problem and get right to work. Men put off the main task for a time and spend the initial period battling for pecking order and hierarchy. Never the less, in virtually all cases, men would accomplish the designated task much more quickly and effectively than the pathetic committee structure that the women formed.

If you allow women to have 50/50 input in all things, nothing gets done effectively at all.

I guess, without seeming bias, that Catholic men are more apt to treat their wives equally in all matters, and this is why the divorce rate is lower in our Church.

The happiest couples I know are both Catholic.

The happiest couples I’ve known were ones where the man was dominant. I’ve seen couples destroyed by too much male subservience. I once saved a marriage, and probably the woman’s life, after she uncontrollably came onto me without even realizing it. I saved them by showing her husband how to spank the kitty.

She was an MD, assistant medical director for the largest free clinic in America, and she was such a good girl, never giving her man any reason to get very upset at her, so he worshiped the ground that she walked on. Deep down inside she turned her nose up at this, was dying in a vacuum of passion, and just had no capacity to control herself around me at all. Sooner or later she would have cheated on him with some other dominant male like me, and likely her husband would have murdered her if he found out about it. So I showed him exactly what worshiping her like that was going to lead to and in a very forceful way showed him how to spank the kitty by writing poetry for her that made her alternately freak out and fawn all over me in front of everyone. It drove him bananas and finally he got angry enough at her to be extremely forceful with her. Suddenly she was fawning all over him and not giving me any trouble anymore! All it took was a firm hand on her behind, so the rumor has it.


Knowing how to spank the kitty is the only way to have a decent marriage. As long as you don't leave any marks they love it to death and beg for more everytime.

I do believe womena re in the fighting force in Israel and they are doing fine.
My situation proves submission isn't a good idea. I was, and ended up broke (all the money I earned went to his drugs) and I ended up in jail, and so on.

And men do go to jail for smacking the kitty and rightly so. I hope no women get involved with guys who think like that.

And from what I read, women do more work than men because their brains are 'multi taskers' and can still work while doing other things.

Can we pick up heavy equipment...not most women. Some can.

My friend came back from Iraq, and she was in the war zone. Yes, they can.

My FIL, a gun expert and an enthusiast, told me the reason women are better marksmen must do with their build. AND I do a pretty good job.
Not the best, but I have the female in me that helps...so my FIL tells me, know if he says it, and he knows guns...well must be something to that.

I so agree. It's heartbreaking the Bible is used to justify such hatred of women. It's so blatantly wrong, it astounds me people can't see what they're wallowing in. It's no wonder non-Christians think we follow such a hateful and oppressive religion/faith.

I don't understand why some men are so against treating women equally. My boyfriend and I are best friends. I'm sure the thought of dominating me or hitting me would never cross his mind as something acceptable in our relationship.
