if your a guy that cant make websites you'll probibly choose gamesystems but computers link to internet easier (if your up to date) you got like 4 game systems in one on the computer and the games on game systems are made from computers! if we didnt have computers the we would be reduced to the 1930's!
game systems let you play games...
so wich side are you on

Computers let you play games too, and allowed it long before the console came into existance. Plus, IMHO, there is wider varity of games for the PC. You try playing something along the lines of Rome: Total War on the console - it aint gonna happen until the console ditches the cumbersome controller.

While I love both, I voted game systems for the following reasons:

  • less expensive: $200 to $300 for a console that last years while I'm upgrading a PC at least once a year
  • multiplayer: get four friends together and play, and with Xbox we're starting to see console LAN parties
  • larger game selection: not necessarily better games (that's a matter of opinion), but there's definately a lot more (especially if you own all the major consoles)

Well if money and cheaters wasn't a factor, then PC would definitly be better.

But we are factoring in those things, so my vote goes to console.
I have watched my brothers PC which is super powerfull, play all of the top games. And I wasn't impressed with what I want. Which is online play.
Sure the graphics were better, but not a whole lot better.
And he didn't use microphones, and never paid attention to the typing, as if anyone really was.
Once in a blue moon someone would say something over a mic.

By next year, consoles next generation xbox will totally conclude this arguement of which is better.

For the money, for the community, for the quality of games, plus video chat, no cheaters, and playing with a comfortable controller. Xbox is the system of choice.

lol, I can do web design and html and music and all on the computer(AKA: I'm not a PC newbie), but I think the pc has more variety of selections and obviously much better graphics but if you dont have an Intel Pentium 4 you really cant experience the full effects of gaming. I mean, some and even most of the games actually require a pentium 4 and or agp or avi graphics card and if you only have a graphics controller, your kind of in trouble. So, it's more expensive, but if you have the right things the computer is much better.

No computer = no console game. And the majority of the hardcore PC gamers I know despise the fighting games and view them as childish entertainment. The PC was doing on-line games long before the Console, and it was doing it rather well. As for the online aspect being "unpopular," the ranks playing "Evercrack" and the like will likely disagree with you.

I'd say game system any day.

Consider this, my PC has a 1.7 GHz AMD, 512 MB Ram, Nvidia gforce fx 5200

I also own a Nintendo Gamecube

Guess which one gets played?

With the PC, it seems like half the games I buy don't work on it (and yes I check trhe system req's) and of the ones that say they use a gamepad, about 40% still aren't compatible.

With a console, however, if it says GAMECUBE on the box ---- WOW the thing WORKS!!! Not only that, the controller works with it too!

Plus, Miyamoto works on Camecube games. POW

And... PC games just don't have that "feel". They're never quite as polished as the stuff Nintendo makes. Of course, maybe there are high quality blood n guts PC games but I have no interest in those. They also don't expect you to upgrade every week to play new releases. So console it is.

I say console! Computer games take up alot of memory, can mess up your computer, don't always work right and I'm not just plain uninterested in most of them. Consoles are much more convenient. Besides which, the console I have (Gamecube since I'm a loyal Nintendo fan ) has more (IMO) decent games than other consoles or PC.
