Computer art?

Is anyone into computer art? I really got into computer art over the last few years. Particularly Pixel art. Anyone been interested in it?

I've been into digital art for over a decade now. I started with sketching with a mouse in paint and online drawing programs, and then moved to digital painting and illustration in Photoshop and Painter. I've been able to mess around with both 2D and 3D animation production including 3D modeling/sculpting, flash animation and 3D animation, film production and editing, etc.
Haha, My life is pretty much digital art! It's awesome.

I am self taught and have a LONG way to go.... it is a slow process for me as I know nothing about computers and programs... but am slowly learning how to use Corel Painter 11. Started out with Painter 2

I started using a CIntiq, and PS5 about 2 years ago, Although i still draw with pencila and such, I find the Computer give's me so much freedom to experiment with colours and shading. I can add a new layer, play around, and if i like it Merge, if i don't delete the layer and no harm done

Yeah I learned from my friend and from Youtube when I was about 14. Did you draw your avatar? Its cute :3! I usually like to draw manga style.

Lately I been using Sai+ to draw and and Photoshop to color. I use Corel sometimes too. Also I got a tablet and its really helpful. How about you?

Yeah I drew him lol! I've done other art works too and I love manga too!
I just use GIMP its not as good as photoshop but i can't afford it lol but my partner did buy me coral draw which I use for some of my art work I never used a tablet, I just use my mouse or touch pad

Maybe we can use this thread to share some of our art work, oh and I love that christmas tree!!

Sweet! Yeah I heard that Gimp was a really good program but haven't tried it out yet. I used a mouse for a long time but then my boss bought a tablet for me after I did some work for her. They have all different kinds of tablets I think Bamboo is supposed to be the best.

Most are pretty expensive but I seen some more affordable ones around $30-$50. I have an older version of Bamboo but its still good. I bet you'd love it because its like a pencil and paper but it takes a while to get used to at first.

I think a mouse is better for pixel art though because its more precise, were a tablet pen is usually more like a paint brush and varies in size depending on how hard you press on the tip. I was editing some pixel art the other day for a program called RPGmaker 2000 to make the sprites. You can make your own RPG games on it. Its really cool if you like videogames, have you ever heard of it?

Yeah for sure thats sounds fun ! I haven't finished most of my newer artworks because I am a little rusty on my art skills >.< but I can show you what I have done so far and some of the work that I've done for people. I would love to see more of your artwork ! Your style looks very kawaii (cute) !

I took a class in computer art in high school, a long time ago. I was really bad at it. I don't do computer art anymore. All my art is old fashion regular hand art. I would like to get back into computer art.
