  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

John 17:4 " I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work You
gave me to do."

Wouldn't it be great to live your life in such a way that they could print the above verse as an epitaph on your tombstone?
The verse is part of Jesus' prayer the night before He would taste death for us, and it speaks volumes in a simple sentence about how we as His disciples should live our lives. The goal; bringing glory on earth. The means; completing the work He gives us to do.

We are here to glorify Him. We must complete the work [not just start it, but finish it]. Our desire is to do all of the work He gives us. We need not aspire to do any more. We should not settle for doing anything less.

Seek Him in prayer today, asking for His guidance on your life about what specific tasks He wants to assign you to glorify Him on earth.
Then commit to completing that work. And be satisfied with becoming well-pleasing to Him who sends you.
