Complete Sufjan Stevens?

Ok, so I am aware of his full length cds... however, I've noticed that he has a number of exclusive songs on different compilation cds. So I'm trying to dig 'em up. Here is what I've found thus far...

the obvious:
To Spirit Back The Mews, an Asthmatic Kitty Compilation. ("The First Full Moon", "God'll Ne'er Let You Down", "Bushwick Junkie", "I Can't Even Lift My Head"...)

what i've found via ebay searches:
Redder Records Presents Metaphysics For Beginners. ("How Can The Stone Remain?")

and
8.21 a blue bunny compilation. ("Woman At The Well", "Far Physician's Son", plus a track from Enjoy Your Rabbit, which was still unreleased at the time of the compilation.)

so does anyone know of anything else? any other compilations I should be digging up?

he recently recorded a cover of "what goes on" by the beatles. it will be released in about a month for the rubber soul tribute album, "this bird has flown".

From what I understand, the LP and ITunes versions of Michigan contain 6 extra songs not included on the cd, and Illinois contains 2 extra songs. I don't know if they are any of the songs above, but I'm going to hopefully be getting my hands on them soon.

Hmm...why can't more artists just release lists of all their releases? You'd think it would help them sell more?!

I responded to this on Decap. There were (I believe) 6 Michigan-era b-sides that he has released in some form or another.

I also have a b-side from Enjoy Your Rabbit that has vocals, called Joy! Joy! Joy!

I don't remember what else I said on Decapolis, but I listed the b-sides and such that I have.

The only versions available are live versions.

Sufjan was going to record it for a 7" split with Half-Handed Cloud, but he could never get it to sound just right on tape.

There's his cover of "She Is" that will be on the tribute to the Buckleys, Dream Brother. It hits stores in the states on October 11.

Or better yet, why not every five years or so, artists release a CD containing all of their B-sides and/or covers.

More money for them and their fans save money, so both are happy.

The labels probably know that those will only sell to die-hard fans. Don't want to promote a low profit. I hate record labels more and more!
