I doubt anyone is born being gay or being straight - to be gay or straight they would have to have a sexual identity & attraction - babies are not do not have a sexual identity or are sexually attracted to anything when they are born.

Yep I agree mate. I know there is scientific "evidence" suggesting otherwise but I cannot see where a God who makes all things perfect could get something so wrong as mess with sexual orientation in the womb! I know it's fair to say we all have different character traits and some men may have slightly more feminine mannerisms and so on, but as far as being gay, and I'm no scientist, but I believe it really comes down to a choice based on the condition of the mind and heart. If you've been conditioned to act in a certain way, whether you did it consciously or your environment influenced you, you will most likely act that way. If God so detests homosexuality (and let me stress as he does all forms of sexual contact outside of the confines of marraige) why on earth would he allow a precious little baby boy have gender confusion and an orientation for men when he was inside mummy's tummy? That suggests God is unjust - and my Bible and my experience of God compel me to believe nothing of the sort. Praise the Lord!

Right. So theft is no worse than homosexuality. Your comment can be applied to the 1 Timothy quote as well. Homosexuality is just as bad a sin as murdering your mother and father.

I'm not sure if this is what you were saying or not, but I thought I'd say it as well anyway.

I should have added that I added the emphasis in those quotes, merely as a means of drawing the attention to the fact that homosexuality is regarded as a sin with those other sins - not to stand homosexuality out from the other sins.

When I began to read the original comments discussing the show I was repulsed by the response. I heard about the show and knew that it was dangerous, but have you noticed that worldly (and I use that word lightly) people don't take things on the media seriously, until it supports their desire to sin and to put down christianity. When it seems to demean true Chrisitanity they grab it with both hands and shout it on the rooftops. Yet they dismiss the media when the sciences help prove the Bible and Jevovah. So, good on you DanielJameSimon for taking the stand and as a Christian I know he speaks for most of the Christians I know. And that's encouraging.
